Danger Zone II
The 19' Edge Drag Boat, N.J.B.A. record holder in unblown fuel jet, was built in 2000 and has about 16 runs on it. Aggressor pump with an "A" s.s. impeller. "AA" bronze alloy experimenting with available. Set up for a 666" Ford Engine, Chevy engine can also fit, but will require Chevy mounts. Has blow off valve and an jet away. Can run with or without the mini-impeller. Trailer is tandem axle Hensley with torsion bar suspension and removable tongue/hitch assembly. The hardware and rigging were done by Tom Papp. Boat ran 142.44 @ 8.00 sec in 1/4 mile at Bakersfield, CA - Lake Ming first time out. The boat has no motor and is set up for a Ford. It has gages (liquid filled) to record rpm and bowl pressure. Six gallon fuel tank with cooling tube and Five gallon dry sump tank mounted in it.
